Terms and Conditions

General Rules

• Upon confirmation of the registration, no further change regarding the selected t-shirt size of the runner is allowed. 
• Upon confirmation of the registration, transfer of registration to another event, or any changes to registrations is not allowed. 
• Upon confirmation of the registration, no refunds are allowed.
• Participants must be fully aware of the risks involved in their participation in the race, in regards to possible injury, damages, or harm to their health.
• Every runner participates in the event at his/her own free will.
• Every runner participates in the event on his/her own responsibility and bears full responsibility as to his/her fitness condition and ability to participate.
• At irunners, for each race we always have a limited number of slots available because we choose quality over quantity. Where does the registration fee go? Organizing a virtual event is not a small feat, website design, hosting, database design, medal design, tee shirt design, marketing and thousands of hours we have spent over the year to bring this event.

Challenge Distances

1- RoadhaRun Challenge 50KM

• Participants have to run or walk a total of 50km in the month of Ramadan. Activities shorter than 15 minutes or longer than 5 hours will not be accepted. 

2- RoadhaRun Challenge 100KM

• Participants have to run or walk a total of 100km in the month of Ramadan. Activities shorter than 15 minutes or longer than 5 hours will not be accepted. 

3- RoadhaRun Challenge 200KM

• Participants have to run or walk a total of 150km in the month of Ramadan. Activities shorter than 15 minutes or longer than 5 hours will not be accepted. 

4- RoadhaRun Challenge 300KM

• Participants have to run a total of 300km in the month of Ramadan. Walking activities will not be accepted for this category. Runs shorter than 15 minutes or longer than 6 hours will not be accepted. 

Virtual Run Distances
1- RoadhaRun 5KM

• Participants have to run 5KM in a single activity to win this medal. Paused runs or walks will not be accepted.

2- RoadhaRun 10KM

• Participants have to run 10KM in a single activity to win this medal. Paused runs or walks will not be accepted.

Registration For Distance Challenges

• All participants must register through the online registration portal. 
• Medal Only includes a finisher medal and a digital bib.
• Full Kit includes a challenge tee shirt, finisher medal and a digital bib.
• Registration includes a finisher medal (upon finishing) and a digital bib.

Distance Challenge Rules

• Participants are required to use Strava running app to track their runs. 
• Finisher Medals can be earned only after completion of the challenge.

Strava Rules

• Strava account name and user account name should match.
• Runs shorter than 15m will not be accepted as part of the challenge.
• Casual walks are not accepted as part of the challenge.
• Runs/walks that are paused will be rejected and will have to completed again to be accepted. 
• A maximum of 2 runs per day will be accepted considering it's Ramadan.
• Use of bicycles or any vehicles will not be accepted. If a participant is proven to cheat during the challenge, they will be disqualified from this challenge.

Virtual Run Rules

• Virtual runs can be run on any day during Ramadan.
• Virtual runs are open for everyone.
• Finisher Medals can be earned only after completion of the run distance in a single run.
• Use of bicycles or any vehicles will not be accepted. If a participant is proven to cheat during the challenge, they will be disqualified from this challenge.

Registration Dates

• RoadhaRun Challenge and Virtual Run Registrations are open from 1st Jan 2025 onwards. 
• Registrations will close on March 30th or when the slots are full.

Medal & Tee Shirt Collection

• Race medals/tee shirts must be personally collected by the registered participants from Family Room Coffee, Hulhumalé during the given times announced via SMS/social media.
• A registered runner may authorise another person to collect his/her medal/tee shirt on his/her behalf, as mentioned above, presenting an authorisation by the registered runner on the responsibility, of the latter, as well as a copy of the ID card or other legal identification document (for example passport, driving license) of the registered runner.
• In order to collect race medals and race tee shirts, it is required, in addition to presenting ID card or other legal identification document (e.g. passport, driving license) of the registered runner, to also present a copy of the “confirmation e-mail ” or SMS that is sent to all registered participants.
• Medals will be issued at the end of RoadhaRun Challenge.
• Tee shirts will be issued after 15th Ramadan and before end of RoadhaRun Challenge.
• Race tee shirts and medals that are not collected during the announced days and hours, may not be collected under any circumstances thereafter. irunners will not be responsible for uncollected items. 

Awards

Lucky Draw

• Updated terms for lucky draws will be updated on our social media channels for every week.
• Winner will be selected by a Instagram live event on @irunnersmv instagram account. 
• Time of the lucky draw will be announced on our social media channels for every week.
• Lucky draw terms and conditions have to be followed by everyone. 
• It may vary for different weeks as some sponsors may be added.
