
Ooredoo Staff Covers 10,000KM in May for Brigade Pace The Year Challenge
Malé, Maldives – June 4, 2025
Ooredoo Maldives staff have collectively run an impressive 10,000 kilometers in May alone, marking a powerful start to the company’s annual Brigade Pace The Year Challenge — an internal wellness initiative designed to foster wellness, health, fitness, and friendly competition across the organization.
Organized in collaboration with iRunners, the challenge spans May 2025 to January 2026, inviting Ooredoo employees to walk or run as much as they can throughout the year. Participants track their distances using Strava, with results updated on a live leaderboard.
Ooredoo Brigades is an employee engagement tool, created and owned by Ooredoo to drive promote camaraderie and team spirit. For this Brigade event, each month, the top five runners or walkers from each brigade are awarded medals, recognizing their dedication and progress.
