MIBSA Roadha Running Challenge 2026

Terms and Conditions

General Rules

• Challenge is open for staff members of Maldives Islamic Bank only. 
• Challenge is organized by MIBSA in partnership with iRunners Maldives. 

Challenge Distances

1- Challenge 50KM - Rising Runners 

• Participants have to run or walk a minimum of 50km in the month of Ramadan. 
• New runners, or runners who have not run longer than 10km in a race. 

2- Challenge 100KM - Seasoned Runners 

• Participants have to run or walk a minimum of 100km in the month of Ramadan. 
• Runners who have done 10k or longer in a race. 

Registration For Distance Challenges

• All participants must register through the online registration portal. 
• Registration includes a finisher medal (upon finishing) and a digital bib.

Distance Challenge Rules

• Challenge dates are from 1st of Ramadan to 6th of Shawwal (From 18th February 2026 to 26th March 2026).
• Participants are required to use Strava running app to track their runs. 
• Finisher Medals can be earned only after completion of the challenge.

Winner Prizes

• Three winners will be selected from each category among participants who successfully complete the required challenge.
• Winners will be chosen through a random draw from eligible participants who complete their respective challenges.
• Each winner will receive a cash prize of MVR 1,000.
• The competition categories are: 
  • 1- Men’s Rising Runners 50 km
  • 2- Women’s Rising Runners 50 km
  • 3- Men’s Seasoned Runners 100 km
  • 4- Women’s Seasoned Runners 100 km

Strava Rules

• Strava account name and user account name should match.
• Activities shorter than 15 minutes or longer than 3 hours will not be accepted. 
• Casual walks are not accepted as part of the challenge.
• Runs/walks that are paused will be rejected and will have to be completed again to be accepted. 
• A maximum of 3 activities per day will be accepted
• Use of bicycles or any vehicles will not be accepted. If a participant is proven to cheat during the challenge, they will be disqualified from this challenge. No refunds will be issued.
